Reboot into Safe Mode. One time-honored trick to recover from a white screen is to boot into Safe. In this tutorial, I am going to teach you how to set up a WiFi Pineapple to work with Mac OS X. It takes less than 5 minutes to configure your Mac and your P. This list is organized by Accent type. For the Template, the symbol 'V' means any vowel. The format is to hold the first two keys down simultaneously, release, then type the letter you wish to be accented.

Example 1: To input the letter ó, hold down the Option key, then the E key. Release both keys then type lowercase o.

If the symbol you need is not on this page, try these options.
I offer the following suggestions for what they are worth. First, Does the Cannon support web site say that it has a driver for this model? If yes, then download and try it. Does your unit's documentation say that it is an air print unit? Does the web site? If so, then it should work on your wifi network without any drivers. One alternative is to try scanning using the Apple app Image Capture. It will often work, but without any extra features. Last, you can download and try the app VueScan. If it works, and it usually does, you can then purchase it. It is a full featured scanning software. If it doesn't work, you can periodically revisit their web site for updates, They keep adding scanners to their list of scanners that can use their software. Good luck.
